A figure, very finely carved and rich details. of Madame de Sévigné, a letter-writer from the 16th century, leaning on her desk. on top rests a richly crafted inkwell. White enamel dial accompanied by its fine hands.
Original mechanism without modification, suspension with silk thread, hour and half hour strike on an old bell.
