Very beautiful pendulum of great manufacture. unusual and very aesthetic model; well proportioned. Signed on the dial “Briscard horloger à Paris”. Louis XVI style, Napoleon III period. Composed of white Carrara marble and finely chiseled gilt bronze.
Portico architecture. four columns supporting the finely decorated entablature on its four sides with rosettes. The upper part decorated with a large laurel wreath. in the center, the domed white enamel dial accompanied by fine hands. the whole protected by a curved glass.
On the rectangular base is flanked by a chiseled oval of acanthus leaf, a row of pearls and twists.
Original mechanism without modification, hour and half-hour strike on old bell.
