Pendulum portico model uncommon. late eighteenth period of Louis XVI around 1780. Made of marble and bronze gilt mercury. Architecture form “half-moon” six-column temple. rich and elegant decor spread over all.
Domed white enamel dial with fine golden needle. the whole is protected by a curved glass and underlined by a broad laurel wreath. The space is occupied by a carved pendulum of a flower oscillating and visible behind a flowery vase.
Original mechanism without modification. Silk thread suspension, hour and half-hour ringing on old bell. The ringing system is located at the back of the turntable providing a peculiarity of the ringing on demand by pulling the small red rope.
